PERRYSBURG CHRISTIANS UNITED is a group of local Perrysburg churches that believe they have been called to provide assistance to individuals, families and the community to foster comfort of mind, body, and spirit in needful situations.  PCU provides financial assistance with rent, utilities, gasoline, or medications in an emergency situation.  To be eligible, the applicant must live in northern Wood County (north of SR 582), and demonstrate a need for assistance.   The group operates a food pantry behind Grace UMC.  For additional information, you may contact Jean Carr.
INTERFAITH HOSPITALITY NETWORK (Family Promise) provides homeless families, usually women with children, with housing in local churches at night, given a hot meal and joined in fellowship by the church volunteers.  Each day they return to the IHN center where guest families work closely with case managers to determine needs and establish goals.  Our volunteers are part of a growing grassroots movement that brings communities of faith together to help homeless families achieve independence and work for permanent solutions.  Perrysburg FUMC volunteers to transport, feed and spend the night one weekend every ten weeks to support this ministry.  For additional information, contact Nancy Slykhuis.
ST. PAUL'S COMMUNITY CENTER - we help to supply food for the homeless.  St. Paul's is a division of United Way.
HOME COMMUNION is provided for members of the church who are unable to attend church.
CHRISTIAN SENIORS INTERACTING is a group sponsored by First United Methodist Church for seniors of all denominations to fellowship and share their faith.
AURORA PROJECT is a comprehensive program for homeless women and their children to facilitate the transition from dysfunction to self-sufficiency and independence by providing safe, secure housing that includes a nurturing center for children.  The Aurora Project is a division of United Way.
THE FRIENDLY CENTER -  "No neighbor will go hungry, feel alienated, alone or powerless."
